Who We Are (The Team)

ShareKit is an independent software project focused on practical file sharing, editable links, and QR workflows. The product is maintained by a small engineering team; support, abuse, and partnership requests are handled through the contact addresses published on this page.

We maintain ShareKit actively with regular security updates, infrastructure scaling, and technical guides. Unlike anonymous file-dump lockers, ShareKit is built as a sustainable business software utility trusted by educators, marketing teams, remote agencies, and independent creators worldwide.

Cloud Architecture & Security Engineering

We take file integrity and infrastructure security seriously. ShareKit is engineered on top of modern global cloud standards:

  1. Global Edge Delivery: Public share pages, redirect handlers, and asset endpoints run on Cloudflare's edge network. Actual response time depends on the visitor's location, network, and file size.
  2. Durable Object Storage: User files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage with encryption at rest and retention rules that depend on the upload type and plan.
  3. End-to-End Encryption in Transit: All data exchanged between your browser and our edge servers is strictly secured using modern TLS 1.3 encryption.
  4. Executable Sandboxing & MIME Verification: We prohibit .exe, .bat, .cmd, .sh, .vbs, and other dangerous executable payloads. Every uploaded file undergoes strict MIME-type sniffing and file header verification to prevent disguised malicious binaries.
  5. Data Privacy by Design: We do not sell user data or harvest contact lists. Free guest uploads expire automatically after 7 days, reducing the risk of indefinite exposure.

Content Safety & Anti-Abuse Commitment

As a responsible digital publisher and cloud service, ShareKit enforces a zero-tolerance policy against malicious, illegal, or abusive material.

  • Proactive Threat Filtering: Automated scanners screen incoming uploads against known malicious file signatures, phishing hashes, and harmful patterns.
  • Abuse Triage: Reports sent to abuse@sharekit.app are reviewed for copyright, malicious-link, and terms violations. Confirmed violations may be removed or disabled.
