Free uploads are for quick sharing. Paid plans are for files attached to printed QR codes, customers, sales conversations, and business workflows where changing the URL would be expensive. When the stored date passes, the share goes offline instead of staying on the internet.

What you can track after the file is sent

Every file has total views, downloads, and QR scans. Pro and Business list those three by day in the file detail. The daily rows start with this tracking release; earlier opens stay in the totals. ShareKit does not store a visitor’s email address or full IP. The same plans can add a password to the share page and email your verified address the first time someone else opens or downloads the file.

How long are free uploads kept?

Guest uploads store a 7-day expiry. Account uploads store a 30-day expiry. When that date passes, the public page, download, and QR stop serving the file. Keep One File moves one upload out by at least a year. Delete the file if it should go offline sooner.

What do credits and paid plans unlock?

Credits cover larger uploads. Keep One File extends one URL and QR code. Pro and Business add day-by-day views, downloads, and QR scans, an optional share password, and one email the first time someone else opens the file. Free accounts keep the running totals.

Do public recipients need a paid account?

No. Recipients open the share page, preview, scan, and download without signing in. If the owner set a password, they type that password on the page. They still do not create an account.

What happens if I cancel a subscription?

Existing links continue to work through the paid period you already purchased. After that, files move back to the limits of the active plan unless you renew or export/delete them.

Why pay if small uploads are free?

Free uploads are for quick sharing and show total views, downloads, and scans. Pay for Pro or Business when you need the day-by-day table, a password on the share page, or an email the first time a file is opened. Pay for Keep One File when one printed QR has to outlast 30 days.
